Melania Trump’s parents have joined Donald, Melania, and Barron for Father’s Day weekend at Camp David. From all reports, President Trump gets along great with his in-laws, who have lived in Trump Tower for the past few years and who came along for their daughter’s trek to Washington D.C. last week when Melania and Barron made their big move. While they are not often seen in pictures, they are usually not too far away from Melania and Barron.

Many have pointed out the uncanny similarities shared between Donald Trump and Melania’s father, which suggests Melania may have married a man just like dear old dad. You can say what you want about Donald Trump, but how many men do you know who actually spend the amount of time with their in-laws that Donald Trump spends with his? You’ve heard all the in-law jokes that have come up through the centuries, but none of them seem to apply to Donald Trump, as he has shared his life not only with his wife Melania but with her parents as well. That really says a lot about the man, who considers his wife’s parents an important part of his family, enough to have them live close by and take them along on getaways.

The country already knows how much emphasis Trump puts on his children, so it wasn’t a secret that Trump is a man who cares about family. Melania posted a picture of a beautiful view that she took while at Camp David and it has conjured up a buzz on social media. The post is seen below.

According to ABC News, the president, the first lady, and Barron flew into Camp David with Viktor and Amalija Knav, who are Melania’s parents, in the same helicopter on Saturday. All five boarded Marine One on the White House lawn and headed over to Camp David, a resort in the woods that many believe was underutilized by the past president and his family. According to Fox & Friends Weekend on Sunday morning, Camp David hasn’t been used in a couple of years.

Melania Trump’s parents are very close to the First Lady, below are two videos that offers up some little-known information on Melania’s parents.

The camp isn’t too far away from the White House by way of helicopter, it is just a little under 70 miles from Washington D.C., which is really a hop, skip, and a jump in a helicopter. The presidential camp is located in the Catoctin Mountain Park near Thurmont, Maryland. While it is very woodsy and rustic-looking from the outside, it has all the modern-day amenities that anyone could possibly need.

This is Trump and his family’s first time at Camp David since he took office at the beginning of the year. His in-laws were along for the Trump family christening of this presidential resort. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, which some call the Florida White House, is usually his choice location for a weekend getaway, but now that the weather is heating up, a nice cool weekend in the woods might be something the Trump family enjoys enough to do again.

As with anywhere, the president travels, the Catoctin Mountain Park officials and area officials needed to prepare for Trump’s visit. This entails closing part of the park down to visitors due to security. This also calls for the Federal Aviation Administration rerouting air traffic around the temporary no-fly zone put in place while the president and his family visit Camp David.
